Murmurations / A permanent kinetic sculpture in copper and steel, commissioned by Shape Newham, AOC Architects for Manor Park Library, London E6. / 2022

Elizabeth Clough and Sophie Rigg worked collaboratively with local children, young people and families already familiar with Manor Park Library. Themes emerged through this work around weather, migration and belonging. The imagery for the sculpture was then conceived through paper collage workshops led by Elizabeth and Sophie in the library and then Elizabeth worked with this imagery directly in the designing and fabrication of the sculpture. 

Elizabeth made the sculpture by hand, with friend and collaborator Tim Hunkin.
